The Gurukula Kangri University was established in 1902 by the Great-martyr Swami Shraddhanandji. It is a 123-year-old Vishwavidyalaya based on the Gurukula System of Education as prescribed in Vedas—the ancient knowledge source of India. Established in 2000, the Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET) at Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University) aims to provide technical education rooted in the values of the Gurukula system. With a focus on developing ethical technocrats, FET is known for producing graduates with strong moral character and technical expertise. It offers B.Tech. programs in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. FET boasts a rich library, advanced labs, modern software, and extensive sports facilities, including football, tennis, volleyball, basketball courts, and an open gym.
